Beyond The Veil

Our God, He is in the wind, He is in the fire and He is in the rain!
Jesus is at the right hand of His Father praying for us right now!! AMAZING!!
When this painting began the Lord had placed Matthew 9:37 and John 4:35 upon my heart. I painted a wheat field filled with light and surrounded with the fire of Gods presence. Then the workers in the field began to form and a whirlwind
John 17: Father, I want them with Me
swirling thru the harvest pulling stems up into its wind. I stood back and stared into the painting for a very long time. I knew it was not finished there was something very large missing. The painting sat on my easel for weeks then I began to see out stretched arms coming from the field right above the workers.
A prayer shawl of white flowing over a head that began to come into sight. Then Jesus’ face become clear and as I painted a cry of, “FATHER, I WANT THEM WITH ME, I WANT THEM WITH ME!!” rang through my heart. Tears began to flow and roll down our cheeks.
The heart cry of this painting is Jesus’ desire for each and everyone one of us to
BE WITH HIM!
To Know Him and have a relationship with Him. He wants you with Him!
Father, I want those you gave me To be with me, right where I am, So they can see my glory, the splendor you gave me,Having loved me Long before there ever was a world Righteous Father, the world has never known you,But I have known you, and these disciples knowThat you sent me on this mission.I have made your very being known to them—Who you are and what you do—And continue to make it known,So that your love for me Might be in them Exactly as I am in them.
-John 17

Day of the Lord
The prophets Joel and Zephaniah write of THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE DAY OF THE LORD, As I have sat with the Lord asking Him about this "day" and about issues of life and longing to love what He loves and to hate what He hates. Asking Him to reveal to my heart what His heart feels, images began to run through my mind. Colors that have no description, sounds that I've never really heard before. Flashes of light sounds of swords being drawn and clashes of metal as they hit. Then this roar, this deep sound filled with power and authority begins to resound in my heart. Then eyes whose light can not be contained.
And a mane that is rich and alive. As He roars His mane moves in one direction as His head moves in the other. The longer I watched, this painting began to evolve. A frame of deep cadmium red and burnt sienna with strokes
of turquoise and gold. Embossed leaves in the corners and fighting swords in position on each side. Their handles come out past the boundary on the frame into the painting. The lions’ mane is alive with movement and is swung outside the confines of the red frame. The Lord strong and mighty He can NOT be contained!! If you Know Him it is a GREAT DAY if you do NOT KNOW HIM IT IS TERRIBLE. In the background are seven lamps whose core are as blades of swords that have been sitting in the fire of the Lord. These represent the lamps that are before Gods throne. The sky is alive with light bursting forth and the foreground is hot with purifying flames. Colors full of energy.
This captures my heart!
Something that has begun to happen in my paintings! WORDS have begun to show up in pieces. Ones that I am not aware of until well after the piece is finished. Almost three week this paintings completion I looked and beside the Lion close to the frame in the flames between the mane and the frame is the word “GOD”. I discovered that He signed this piece!!!
I LOVE HIM!! And creating with Him is beyond words!!

Chair: Come and Sit
This is a painting that was created during a free to create workshop. The question we had before the Lord was, " What does Your Love to me look like?" As I soaked colors began to become vivid to me and then after just soaking in these rich color I began to see a simple chair. I got up and began the process of layer upon layer creating the layers of color I had been in. I stood back and realized there was no room for the "chair" I began asking the Lord where it was suppose to be. As I painted the edges of the piece I turned it over and there was the perfect place for my chair just to sit and be still. I asked the Lord for the colors of the
chair and gently He showed me the lavender and glass green. I felt something blowing over the chair after I had finished painting that night I set up the piece and suddenly I began to see eyes and a nose looking at the chair/ at me
through the colors!! The next time I was able to paint I began to pull out the image and realized it was a lions nose and the eyes of a lamb blowing over me. I felt the Lord saying slow down and just sit with Me let Me blow over you. I was falling in love with what I was feeling. I completed the mane , or I thought I was painting a mane. Stood back and looked and found a mans face looking at the chair, then a eagle and several other images. I am amazed at what Holy Spirit created in this piece and I'm not real sure what they all mean. I would love to hear your thoughts.
It is very interesting to look at the piece and the meaning of the colors. After the piece was completed I looked the colors up and I was amazed!
Here is a list of colors and their meanings

Shepherds Lead
The Shepherds lead formed as I sat in the International House of Prayer in KC. I had been drawn to sketch a modern shepherd leading his flock into an open field leading to a NEW PLACE!

Blue Wings of Freedom
This was done LIVE during a freedom retreat . The painting formed with fire and water and then a person began to form. Trying to stand pulling out of the darkness. These Beautiful BLUE wings began to be unfurled and to stretch out as the weekend progressed the wings became stronger and stronger!! It truly was a weekend of FREEDOM being declared!!
