Collection: Right Wing/ Left Wing

When these pieces began I was sitting in my studio fascinated by the book of Revelation! The imagery had captured my sanctified imagination! I suddenly had a great urge to paint two wings! A right wing and a left wing!  I knew they were to be the wings of a huge eagle. I took two large canvases and placed them on top of each other. I felt that the wings needed to be painted AT THE SAME TIME! After they were completed I discovered Revelation 12:14 " But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman so that she could fly and escape into the wilderness to her own special place, where she was nourished for a time, and times, and half a time," These wings are wings of PROTECTION as well as flight!
